Andrea Powell – Founder of Preva Collection

Andrea Powell, 35, is a driven entrepreneur and nurse from South Georgia. Born in Donalsonville and raised in the small town of Iron City, she discovered her passion for entrepreneurship early in life, flipping sneakers and running yard sales with her family. Growing up surrounded by hardworking, business-minded relatives, Powell learned firsthand the value of discipline, perseverance, and creating opportunities.

In 2020, during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Powell realized how little control she had over traditional employment. Determined to create her own path, she revisited a skill she had cultivated naturally as a teen—entrepreneurship. This led to the launch of Preva Collection, LLC in 2021, an inspirational lifestyle clothing brand dedicated to helping individuals make plans, persevere, and “prevail.”

The brand quickly gained traction, selling over 500 shirts in its first 90 days and reaching customers in 13 states within just four months. Notable supporters include comedian Eddie “Erealist” Harris and multi-millionaire music artist and entrepreneur Rick Ross. But for Powell, the success of Preva Collection isn’t just measured in sales—it’s about the impact. Through her designs, she spreads messages of hope, resilience, and empowerment, encouraging people to pursue their passions and break cycles of generational struggles.

Powell’s commitment extends beyond her brand. She actively mentors her community, showing individuals how to earn income creatively and sustainably—without feeling trapped in the traditional 9-to-5. Her message has inspired many to find alternative, positive paths to financial freedom.

Rooted in her upbringing and family legacy of entrepreneurship, Andrea Powell continues to grow Preva Collection while uplifting her community. She believes in the motto: “Each one, teach one.” Every step of her journey reflects her dedication to helping others learn, grow, and prevail.
